Akshay Kumars look unveiled in his first Marathi film - Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat

This Tuesday, Akshay Kumar started filming for his first Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat in Mumbai. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, the film features Akshay Kumar in the titular role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji.

The international megastar dropped this announcement on his social media, saying "Today I am starting the shooting of Marathi film 'Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Saat' in which I am lucky to be able to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji. I will do my best by taking inspiration from her life and the blessing of Mother Jijau! Keep your blessings on us."
