Ingredients
Basmati Rice - 1 cup Capsicum - 1 Onion - 1 small Ginger Garlic paste - 1/2 tsp Saunf (Fennel seeds) - 1/2 tsp Chilli Powder -2 tsp Garam Masala - 1 tsp Turmeric powder- pinch Salt - to taste Ghee- 1 tsp Oil- 2 tsp Coriander leaves - few
Cooking Instructions
*Pressure Cook and allow it to cool *Finely chop onions and capsicum *Heat oil in a pan and add fennel seeds *Once it splutters, add Ginger garlic paste and fry till the raw smell goes off, then add onions and saute till it turns pink in color *Add turmeric powder *Add chopped capsicum, and mix it. *Add chilli powder, salt and Garam Masala and saute for 5 mins *Finally add coriander leaves. *Once done mix well with the rice and top with ghee and serve hot along with papad
Tip: We can add peanuts and cashews also
