Historical Event on 11/24/1881
Ram Rachhpal, son of Sukhi Ram, called 'Chhotu', freedom fighter, politician and leader, was born in a 'Jat' famlily in a small village Garhi Sampla in Rohpak district. His life was a saga of sincere and ceaseless striving to improve the condition of the poor peasants in India, popularly known as 'Deenbandhu'.

2/12/1928	Bardoli Satyagrah (Gujarat) was led by Vallabhbhai Patel against the Bombay government's decision to hike the revenue on cotton by 22 percent while its prices declined Internationally. Ultimately the govenment quashed the hike.
6/6/1909	Morappakam Joysam Gopalan, cricketer (1 Test India v England 1933-34), was born in Maduranthakam, Madras.
5/26/1999	IRS-P4(OCEANSAT) with an Ocean Colour Monitor (OCM) and a Multi-frequency Scanning Microwave Radiometer (MSMR) and two small satellites (KITSAT of Korea and TUBSAT of Germany) launched by PSLV-C2.
